
While working toward his bachelor of arts in political science at the University of Oklahoma, Harold Dampier Jr. became a Washington Semester scholarship winner to the American University (AU) in Washington, D.C. Completing an AU Washington Semester internship with Congressman David McCurdy, Harold Dampier Jr. served functions that included reviewing relevant legislation, speech writing and helping to resolve specific constituent issues. He subsequently matriculated at the South Texas College of Law Houston, where he earned his juris doctor with a strong interest in comparative law and civil trial advocacy.
Over the course of his career, Harold Dampier, Jr., has served as National Center for State Courts (NCSC) chief of party for both the NCSC USAID Kosovo Legal Profession Program in Pristina, Kosovo, and the NCSC USAID Bangladesh Justice for All Program in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Since 2018, he has served as a strategic advisor for the free legal aid initiatives of USAID Justice Matters Activity in Kosovo.
