Recent endeavors in Latin America include designing the five-day Standard Prosecutorial Training course, which will help prosecutors in Honduras develop the skills needed for prosecutorial work in the country. A joint project with the Training School of the Public Ministry, the program gives participants lessons in oral trial advocacy, case preparation, and best practices for case management. The Standard Prosecutorial Training course was awarded to the NCSC International by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) in 2018 with the intention of improving Honduras’ criminal justice system.
